“A place for everything and everything in its place” holds great meaning in the organizing world. Having a home for everything you own really can change the way you live your life. And it makes this week’s challenge even easier: 15 minutes to a tidy home. I ran

Finding My Ministry: Cookie Love

Today I want to share with you something that I love… I LOVE baking. The smell of melted butter. The taste of a sweet buttercream frosting. The gooey middle of a cupcake. But mostly, I love the look on each person’s face when they taste the sweets I

Welcome to Time Organization

Is there ever enough time in the day, week, month? It seems that time just slips through our fingers (or the exact opposite when experiencing something unexciting). I remember several of these during my college career… required classes that I’m sure were very important to someone, yet

Cleaning Day by cindy torvik

Children can, and should, clean the house. Mine started this important habit several years ago…slowly but surely at the age of 5, beginning with dusting. The more important element is that essential habits for successful living are being instilled in my children. Five hours later (yes, only 5 hours), my house shone like a new penny. Start Small but Start Now

My how things can change in 12 months. Approximately one year ago, I presented to an audience of widows on topics of grief, hope, organization, time-management, and how to find the will to want to move forward with anything. I wrapped up the talk by issuing a challenge to these women … women who had suffered loss that left them lacking motivation to move forward with a variety of tasks. The challenge was to step ahead with theses tasks under their present circumstances in order to show God they trusted him and the plans he had for them. He will show us unbelievable things in our lives when we show him we are staying on the narrow path even in the most difficult times. His plans may include a move, a new job, going back to school, becoming a grandparent, a new love … dare to dream.
