patty robertson shine straighten your paths home cleaning organization

Growing up on a large cattle ranch on the state line of the western Dakotas introduced Patty to the responsibilities of careful planning, creative and resourceful problem solving, and the importance of teamwork at a young age. She founded Straighten Your Paths in 2003 following 16 years in the corporate arena where she continued to hone her instinctive organizational skills managing day-to-day operations including revenue and expense flow for multi-million dollar companies. She has recruited and managed teams of 4 to 40 people while planning and implementing systems to help her teams reach their goals.

In 2010, she received the designation of Certified Professional Organizer® (CPO®) from the Board of Certification for Professional Organizers. This certification recognizes those professionals who have met specific minimum qualifications and proven through examination and client interaction to possess the body of knowledge and experience required for certification.

Commissioned as a Stephen Minister in 1997, she has since walked alongside many care-receivers providing care to those experiencing life transitions. “Often traveling through life, people with needs suffer silently or don’t find the level of care they need,” says Robertson, “This can eventually lead to disorganization and an overwhelming feeling of not knowing which direction to turn next.” Her passion for helping fellow travelers journey through life inspired the rise of Straighten Your Paths.

One of her greatest joys is giving back to others through various mission work in which she is involved. In her spare time, she enjoys family time, reading, gardening, golfing, biking and hiking.

“A place for everything and everything in its place” is Cindy’s organizing motto. A life-long organizer, Cindy excels at containing and controlling chaos and has been a key member of the SYP team since 2007. As the wife of a husband who travels, a mother of three busy children, a breast cancer survivor, a fitness instructor, and an active member in her church, Cindy fully understands the importance of prioritizing and planning to keep disorder and chaos under control. Cindy holds a BA, MBA from UNI and is a loyal Panther fan. As a committed fitness enthusiast, you may see her in the local Warrior Dash, Color Run, or instructing a spinning class at the YMCA. In 2012, Cindy reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro with the Above & Beyond Cancer expedition. In her spare time she enjoys scrapbooking and reading. How does she find time for it all? Cindy claims it comes down to planning, following through with those plans, being prepared with backup plans, and maintaining a joyful attitude throughout.

Donna is the epitome of putting first things first and helping people focus time and effort on what matters most. “People and relationships are the most important part of getting things done,” claims Donna. After nearly two decades of experience in finance, accounting, and banking, with a successful track record of organizing people and projects, Donna and her husband decided it was time to put this experience to the test. Confident in their decision, Donna left the business world in pursuit of managing the household chaos that comes along with four children. It was as a stay-at-home mom that she sharpened her organizational skills out of necessity as she managed the household and dynamic schedules for a family of six. As a master of the practical, Donna loves helping people transition from what feels like chaos to a place where they can be at peace. She believes a home should feel ‘lived-in’, but be able to host unexpected company in 30 minutes or less. Donna holds a BS in Business Management/Finance and thrives serving others through church, school and community activities.
