Six Years Cancer Free! by cindy torvik

My goal is to accomplish daily tasks quickly and efficiently in order to spend time with my family and friends. There should be a place for everything. A plan for handling incoming and outgoing mail, papers and bills is vital; spend less than 5 minutes sorting when it arrives instead of 60-90 minutes after it’s piled high. Making time to plan the week is essential. What needs to be done, what should be done and what could be done daily should be planned in advance. Then, when life throws a curve ball, I’m better prepared to make quick changes.

Cleaning Day by cindy torvik

Children can, and should, clean the house. Mine started this important habit several years ago…slowly but surely at the age of 5, beginning with dusting. The more important element is that essential habits for successful living are being instilled in my children. Five hours later (yes, only 5 hours), my house shone like a new penny. There was a place for everything and everything was in its place. What an accomplishment…love that feeling of a job well done.
